Chapter 2: Consent

Many incidents of sexual violence that occur among students at Penn State come down to the issue of consent. If you initiate touching, intercourse or other intimate acts with another person, you must be sure that you have consent to do so.

This chapter will cover:

• The definition of consent according to Penn State policy AD-85
• Alcohol and other date rape drugs
• Alcohol and sexual assault
