This chart shows the different physiological effects of alcohol at various BAC levels.

BAC Range Body's Physiological Response

KEEP OUT OF THE RED!

.30 - .34 Little comprehension, hard to wake, death is possible.
.25 - .29 Severe impairment of mental, physical, sensory functions; risk of serious injury; passing out is likely.
.20 - .24 Disorientation, need help to stand/walk, vomiting and memory lost are likely.
.16 - .19 Nausea, higher anxiety, "sloppy" drunk, increased memory loss, could pass out.
.13 -.15 Blurred vision, anxiety, severely impaired coordination and judgement; increased risk of injury to self or others.

BEWARE OF THE YELLOW!

.10 - .12 Significant impairment of coordination, judgment and reaction time; slurred speech.
.07 - .09 Impaired balance, speech, judgment, reasoning and reaction time.

STAY IN THE BLUE!

.04 - .06 Relaxed feeling, lower inhibition, minor impairment of reasoning and memory, less cautious.
.02 - .03 Slight euphoria, more talkative.
